#61–#80 Wire Gauge Drill Bit Set
This 20-piece wire gauge drill bit set includes every numbered size from #61 through #80 for small-diameter drilling. The consecutive size range allows precise drill selection when working with small pins, wire, hardware, and miniature components.
Each drill is manufactured from M2 high-speed steel, fully machined, ground, and polished. These jobber-length micro drill bits come organized in a compact HUOT steel index, keeping individual sizes separated and accessible at the workbench.
Applications
- Model building: Holes for detail parts, miniature fasteners, pins, and wire.
- Jewelry making: Fine holes in metal components for wire and small fittings.
- Miniature fabrication: Small brackets, plates, assemblies, and precision components.
- Instrument and mechanism repair: Drilling replacement parts for small mechanical assemblies.
- Hobby and prototype work: Detail drilling in plastics, wood, and suitable machinable metals.

Tool Compatibility and Use
Use a pin vise, precision drill chuck, or suitable collet capable of gripping the selected drill diameter. Check your tool’s minimum gripping capacity; standard drill chucks may not close sufficiently to hold these small shanks.
Secure the workpiece, maintain accurate alignment, and apply light feed pressure. Avoid side loading and clear chips frequently. Select drilling speed and lubrication to suit the material and drill diameter.
Check the size range before ordering: All drills in this set are smaller than 1/16″. Higher wire gauge numbers indicate smaller diameters within this range.
